Overview
In the manufacture of traditional medicines and health supplements, overall control of essential to ensure the consumer receives quality and safe products. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) outline steps which should be taken by manufacturers of traditional medicines and health supplements with the objective of ensuring that their products are of the intended quality and nature. In general, GMP consists of aspects such as design and layout of premises, housekeeping, cleaning and sanitation, apparatus and tools, control of operational activities, quality control, distribution, customer complaint, product recall, manufacturing and testing contract etc.
