Overview

How can your organization manage risks and pursue opportunities within its ISO 9001 Quality Management System?

ISO 9001:2026 requires organizations to determine, analyze and evaluate relevant risks and opportunities, plan appropriate actions, integrate those actions into QMS processes and evaluate their effectiveness.

This practical training helps participants distinguish risks from opportunities and connect them with organizational context, interested-party requirements, process objectives and intended QMS results. Actions to address risks should be proportionate to their potential impact on the intended results of the QMS. Actions to address opportunities should be appropriate to the organization’s context and support desired results.

Participants should have a basic understanding of their organization’s processes. Previous ISO 9001 knowledge is useful but is not required for every participant when the training is tailored to the organization.
